The technology-obsessed techno maestro has recently created a video in which he walks viewers through his setup for each CLOSE show. According to Hawtin, each improvised performance aims to “explore the relationship between human creativity and the innovative technologies that enable an artist to express themselves”. He goes on to explain how his cohesive mix of hybrid and digital machines and the positioning of the gear allows him to operate in a way that creates a real “man-machine relationship.”
