Alinka is on a mission to keep house music weird! Through her creative playfulness Alinka’s productions have become esteemed favourites on dancefloors around the world. With regular sets at Panorama Bar and Circoloco, to releases on The Classic Music Company, Permanent Vacation, Crosstown Rebels and now Bambossa, with ‘Who Am I’, a two-track EP completed by a remix from label boss Harry Romero himself. The release poses the question of ‘Who Am I’ with a rave nostalgic track, modernised through her use of contemporary punchy synths rolled through a pulsating electronic beat. Romero then reimagines Alkina’s excellent track and steps up with a distorted remix, his signature drum beats catapulting the release into a chunky energetic floor filler.
The release is already getting major support from Honey Dijon, Maceo Plex and Jennifer Cardini. With the DJ feedback from Audiojack saying ‘Harry Romero is on FIRE this year’, and we’re not going to argue!! We’d love to get some press around the release, and even lock in a premiere.
