The two-track package follows the UK artist’s critically acclaimed label debut ‘Set Me Free’ in June 2025

Tommy Farrow returns to Purified Records with his new ‘Raindrops’ EP, a release that balances introspection with club-ready energy. The title track, ‘Raindrops’ featuring 88Birds, rides on a rolling bassline and a Moog-like synth, with vocals that add an emotive, human touch. The result is a track that moves the body while lingering in thought, combining melody and texture with subtle, reflective depth. Flipping the EP, ‘Messiah’ delves into darker, more underground territory. A dramatic cinematic break introduces classical instrumentation, including sweeping strings, before plunging into a driving, club-focused groove. The track fuses grandeur and grit, creating a tension-filled journey that is both dramatic and dancefloor-ready.

For Raindrops / Messiah, the visual world is built around a photograph by New Zealand–based photographer Tim Marshall. Known for his instinctive way of capturing the ocean in motion, Marshall’s image freezes a fleeting moment, water suspended mid-air, light cutting through the surface, balancing calm and intensity in a single frame. The artwork mirrors the emotional space of the EP: fluid, immersive, and quietly powerful, inviting the listener to step inside rather than observe from a distance.

Shot along New Zealand’s wild west coast, places like Māori Bay carry a raw, untamed energy, beautiful, fragile, and constantly shifting. It’s a landscape that naturally inspires reflection and respect, where creativity and nature feel inseparable. That sense of connection runs through Raindrops / Messiah, where sound and imagery meet to honour the ocean not just as a backdrop, but as a living presence that shapes emotion, movement, and meaning.
