Berghain is a nightclub in Berlin, Germany. It is named after its location near the border between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain in Berlin, and is a short walk from Berlin Ostbahnhof main line railway station.[1] Founded in 2004 by friends Norbert Thormann and Michael Teufele, it has since become one of the world’s most famous clubs, and is sometimes called the “world capital of techno.”
The club’s main room is focused on techno, with a smaller upstairs space, Panorama Bar, featuring house. The basement holds a male-only sex club called Lab.Oratory.
Berghain stands as the most famous club in the world and for most people its an enigma. A lot of people never get to enter, and filming and taking photos is forbidden.
Everyone wanted to know the reasons that led many people to queue for hours and hours you go in if Sven Marquardt -their famous doorman- wants to.
It is already said that what happens in Berghain stays in Berghain, and the club also has a policy of not allowing mobile phones to be used in its facilities, much less recording videos.
