Hailing from Budapest, Mario Domjan aka Collective Machine is one of Hungary’s most highly regarded electronic music producers.

His passion in the studio and his tireless work searching for the perfect sound has opened the doors of the most recognised record labels in the international scene. 8Bit Records, Knee Deep In Sound, Deeperfect, Elrow Music, Bedrock and Stereo Productions are home to some of his releases over the last couple of years, and his tracks continue to be indispensable in the sets of artists like Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Hot Since 82, Steve Lawler and Maya Jane Coles.

For his new single ‘My Way’, Collective Machine teams up with Syssy on vocals. From its wavy, shapeshifting groove comes flickering percussive arrangements, liquid-like rhythms and misty harmonics. Evolving with power and class, Sissy’s chops resonate with a smokey, hypnotic drawl; adding space and depth as the journey reaches its main break. A primary theme emerges across the centrepiece, flowing through a colourful fuzz of modulation, before eventually giving way to the funk-fuelled, acid laced groove for a hip-swinging finale.

On remix duties is Romanian artist Mihai Popoviciu who sits firmly within today’s elite guard of house music producers. He rounds out an auspicious prelude from Collective Machine, wetting the appetite for what promises to be an excellent artist album.
