POPOF

POPOF is back with more of his techno brilliance in the form of his Maze Distortion EP on vital US outlet Factory 93 Records.

Iconic Parisian artist POPOF is one of the most widely recognised names within the world of techno and house and has remixed everyone from Chemical Brothers to Moby and BookaShade. He has become a mainstay of the underground thanks to his always innovative originals on vital labels like Cocoon, Solardo’s label Sola and Hot Creations amongst many more. His dynamic live/hybrid project Turbulences with Space 92 has shown another side to him, and in October they are taking it to Insomniac’s Escape Festival, but not before he makes his mark on Factory 93 Records with another of his fresh EPs.

The title track opens up and is a dark and moody cut with rolling rubbery bass and flashes of acid across the face of the tune. It’s one that will cause a real storm on the dance floor and then Syndrome has heavy, hammering kick drums and laser like synths shooting out of a machine gun.
