Congratulations on your new single ‘Rhythm’! How has the feedback been so far? Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
The feedback has been great so far. I’ve played the track several times to see how it works with the crowd, and I’m happy they’re enjoying it.
Can you talk us through your production process for this track? What elements were most important to you when crafting it?
My creative process always starts by jamming on my piano randomly, creating melodies and lyrics. Once I’ve created them, I switch to my DAW Logic Pro x and transmit the final idea.
‘Rhythm’ is out via Sirup Records – a label that has been home to several of your successful releases. What has the partnership with the label meant for your career, and how does it align with your artistic vision?
I’m very happy to have a label like Sirup Music. I feel comfortable, and we share the same vision for my music. This is very important to me as an artist, as it allows me to freely express my ideas and creativity.
You’ve established a reputation for self-producing all of your music. How do you think that full creative control impacts the final sound and emotional depth of your tracks?
Having full creative control has a big impact on my music production. I think I’ve found my core identity. Every track I create tells a story, and I’m able to infuse all my vibes and emotions into them. I believe this is important because it makes you authentic. When I play my tracks in front of a crowd, it’s a magical feeling, especially knowing I’ve worked hard on a track for weeks in the studio.
What initially drew you to the sounds of Melodic Techno and Progressive House? Have you always championed this sound?
When I started producing music seven years ago, I was totally inspired by EDM and wanted to follow in the footsteps of Avicii and Kygo. However, track by track, I gradually evolved into the Melodic Techno and Progressive House scene, always striving to blend energy and intensity with melodies and vocals. I’m very happy to have found my own style.
You’ve had incredible support from icons like David Guetta and EDX. How does it feel to gain that kind of recognition from industry heavyweights?
Having such incredible support from these icons means a lot to me. As a producer, it gives me confidence, and I feel that I am on the right path.
You were just recently at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Can you tell us about some of the things you got up to whilst you were there?
ADE is always a great event. I had the honor of playing for WE RAVE YOU x Bootshaus x Cosmic Beatz event, as well as for an event organized by Sirup Music x Black Hole Recordings x Coldharbour Recordings.
What is next for you now? Any upcoming releases or tours we can look forward to?
I am happy to announce that an official remix of Pretty Pink will be released on November 1st.
For those of our readers who might be at the very beginning of their musical careers, do you have any advice that you could share?
Produce as much music as you can. With each track, you improve and take your sound to a next level. The same applies to DJing: the more you play, the more confidence you gain, which is true for both producing and performing in front of an audience where you can present your tracks. Learn as much as you can about the music business through books, YouTube. I believe that if you have the will and stay focused, you will succeed.
