Hungary’s Jay Lumen is a producer and heavily touring DJ who has been a force within the techno scene for over a decade, releasing music on some of the most renowned labels in the industry, including Drumcode, Octopus Recordings, Second State and Intec Digital, while heading up his label and the main outlet for his music – Footwork. Alongside collaborations with legends such as Green Velvet, Lumen’s own solo productions are his place to explore this freedom as a producer.
Regularly supported by fellow heavyweights in Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Pan-Pot, Amelie Lens and Monika Kruse, his next outing welcomes a first appearance on US-based imprint Factory 93, a label that has made a mark by pushing emerging talent while also inviting a selection of techno’s most prominent names, as he releases his new single ‘The Fact’.
‘The Fact’ is a high-energy, driving track expertly blending heavy-hitting percussion, pulsing synths, and deep basslines to create a sound that is both powerful and infectious, a testament to his skill as a producer and his ability to create electronic music that is both innovative and accessible.
