LA based DJ/Producer LUPA returns to mau5trap with “Born a Beast” out on February 16th, the first single off her forthcoming 2023 EP titled ‘Animosity’; boasting a dynamic techno soundscape, LUPA’s first single of the year is an ominously dark introduction to her upcoming project. First appearing on the deadmau5-owned imprint in 2021, the rising techno star LUPA is quickly establishing a name for herself in the global techno scene.
“I came up with the idea for “Born A Beast” while on a music retreat in the mountains. It got dark early, and once it was night there was zero natural light left. I thought about the unknown things or creatures that could be hiding in the darkness of the forest and wanted to capture that uncanny feeling in a song,” – LUPA.
