Nino Blink

Moog Conspiracy’s label Elektrotribe Records presents a modulating techno EP by Nino Blink that has hypnotic grooves and raw sounds.

Nino Blink delivers two original tracks alongside dynamic remixes by Javier Ferreira and MRDIE who each put their own spin on things.

Hailing from Scotland, Nino Blink used to run BLINK parties at Club 69, and now based in Singapore, he is an ambassador for local techno scene too. This is his debut release on Elektrotribe, and his past outings on other imprints have already hit the Top 100 Techno Chart on Beatport, and this is another strong offering.

On remix duty, Javier Ferreira is an eclectic artist who produces everything from deep tech to techno, and he delivers a breakbeat remix with powerful low-end.

The second remix comes from MRDIE whose style has evolved from the dark minimal he has released through the likes of Richie Hawtin’s M-nus to the driving style of this techno remix.

“Headquarters” is the title track, and it’s got a swirling groove with bleeping melodies and dystopian pads layered over fast-paced percussion.

“MDLR” is the second original track, and its mesmerising arpeggio melody intertwines with intricate drum patterns to create a captivating dance floor experience.

Javier Ferreira delivers a stunning breakbeat remix of “Headquarters,” and MRDIE transforms “MDLR” with a new melody and rolling bassline.
