Congratulations on your new single ‘Digital Rain’. How did the creative process unfold? Was it a sudden spark of inspiration, or did it evolve gradually over time?
It evolved over time – I made it to break through a difficult time I was going through so I tried to captivate all those emotions into the music as best I could.

How do you think the track reflects your growth as an artist since your earlier releases on Purified Records?
I believe it’s part of the evolution of my sound but also a taste of what’s to come this year in 2025.

The title suggests a futuristic or technological theme. Is there a deeper narrative or story behind the name “Digital Rain”?
The name behind the song was based on the sound of the pluck and I thought it described the track quite well in that regard

What role did experimentation play in crafting the soundscapes and textures in this track?
It definitely played a role in the sound design and arrangement in how those 2 interact and come together.

You’ve built a reputation for emotional depth in your music. How do you channel personal experiences into your productions?
I’m usually thinking very deeply about things and nearly obsessing over certain things so I channel the intensity of that into my music and try to translate that into emotion as best I can.

Was there a defining moment during production when you felt “Digital Rain” was ready to be shared with the world?
After I had created the pads melody in the 2nd part of each drop I felt there was a definite vibe to it that I wanted to share with people.

The electronic music scene is constantly evolving. How do you ensure your music stays fresh while remaining true to your style?
I make music based on how I feel at my core and so I’m always inspired by other genres and incorporating elements from other genres into my music and naturally that will evolve over time but how exactly, I cannot say.

What’s your approach to live performances? Can fans expect “Digital Rain” to sound different when played in a club or festival setting?
I try to take people on a journey and visualize how it will be but in terms of will digital rain sound different in a club/ festival setting – absolutely it does, the emotions are way more intense but then again most music will sound “better” in a club/festival setting in general.

Many artists talk about balancing perfectionism with spontaneity in the studio. Where do you stand on that spectrum?
I believe you should always produce quality over quantity but never get lost in the sauce to where you’re confusing movement with progress.

What’s the one piece of advice you would give to up-and-coming producers?
Never give up – if you do, you definitely won’t achieve your goals.
