World-renowned DJ and producer Michael Bibi recently made a significant contribution to cancer research and treatment during a visit to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Presenting a check of £124,832.25, Bibi expressed his gratitude to the medical staff for their tireless efforts in treating cancer patients, including himself. The funds were raised from his groundbreaking One Life show at Finsbury Park, London, which drew an audience of over 45,000 people, marking the largest electronic music concert in the city’s history.
Bibi’s return to the stage after his courageous battle with CNS lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spinal cancer, has been met with immense support from fans and the music community. His “One Life” tour, launched in 2024, is not just a celebration of life but also an initiative to give back to the medical institutions that supported him during his recovery
During his visit to the Oak Cancer Centre at The Royal Marsden, Bibi emphasized the impact of the donations on future cancer research and treatment: “Through dancing, we have directly helped other people like myself and are helping to make a difference in saving more lives. My heart is full, thank you.”
