Dennis Ferrer Hey Hey

New York-raised DJ and producer, Dennis Ferrer, shares the story behind his 2010 house hit, ‘Hey Hey’. Once a forgotten project on his hard-drive, Ferrer tells how it was his daughter chanting ‘Hey Hey’ around the house that led him to believe the track was going to be a hit.

Originally released via his own Objektivity label; ‘Hey Hey’ was later signed by Simon Dunmore’s Defected Records and has since become one of the house music label’s staple records. 14 years on from it’s release, it has had fresh remixes from Kitty Amor and David Guetta’s Jack Back alias, and remains a firm dance floor favourite.
